THE TWYFORD is a performing arts and community venue located in Merimbula on the Sapphire Coast of NSW Australia.
We work, meet and perform on the lands of the Djiringanj people, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and to all First Nations people in our venue.
Twyford Hall was built on this site in 1931 by the people of Merimbula and continues to be used by the community to this day.
A new Theatre and Foyer is nearing completion behind the Hall and is expected to open in late 2023.
We host professional touring and community performances, rehearsals, meetings, exhibitions, conferences, arts markets and workshops, weddings and functions, book launches, community events and film and music festivals.
Our Board oversees the team managing the venue including our Operations Manager, technical staff and volunteers
