Free Marketing
Your event will be included in Events on our website, our Facebook page, Instagram page, e-news and a mention in our twice-daily radio spot on SapphireFM at no extra charge. When the new theatre and foyer open, your event will also appear on our digital display screens. The billboard rail on the Market Street corner of Twyford Hall is suitable for landscape format coreflute or vinyl banners and can be booked using the Venue Hire Enquiry Form. There is no automatic approval, as other hirers may already have booked it for a similar timeframe. Subject to availability, we offer a minimum of 1 week, maximum 3 weeks leading up to and/or during your hire period.
Paid Marketing
Additional marketing services such as paid ads on online media, newspaper & radio, poster printing & distribution are available for an extra fee. We can advise you on what works locally, including arranging interviews with local media contacts. Contact us for details.
Programs
We encourage you to consider the environment and avoid or reduce printed program material if possible. A QR Code or URL link to an online program can be made available to ticket holders via our booking system or in the entry foyer.
Merchandise Sales
Sales via EFTPOS can be handled by our staff during your event for a commission, which covers our EFTPOS, GST and credit card processing costs. Contact us for details.
Staffing & Other Services
The Twyford can provide staff for your event including:
- Technical specification design/review
- Bump in/bump out crew (note – we do not have a mechanist in-house)
- LX / audio prerig
- Technical Operator during performances
- A/V operation
- Ticketing/Box office for non-Twyford presented events
- Ushers (volunteers)
We can also help you to source local staff to assist with: stage management, wardrobe, streaming production and camera operator services.

Cleaning
Venue hire rates include professional cleaning and sanitising of all areas in use including toilets, bathrooms, public spaces, backstage areas and kitchen (if used). Allow at least 2 hours between multiple sessions for cleaning of public spaces to take place. Excess cleaning will be charged @ $55 per hour if the venue is not left in a clean and tidy state by hirers or visiting artists/crews.
Cafe/Bar
Opening in late 2023, the licenced Foyer Cafe/Bar will be available for pre-event, interval and post-event refreshments and the Foyer will also be available for hire as a venue in its own right for small functions when the Theatre is not in use. Food & drink service requires hire of trained and RSA qualified Twyford staff. Contact us for details.
